These platforms include;
SMS (Short Messaging Service):
SMS is the platform wherein small packets of data are transferred back and forth. This is a basic service provided by mobile phone service providers.
Unit for location / status of the vehicle is sent by the help of SMS, only the most recent or current location of a vehicle is determined with a time laps.
GPRS (General Packet Radio Service):
GPRS facilitates provision of real time live tracking. The advent of GPRS in vehicle tracking revolutionized the concept of fleet management. This feature facilitates the fleet managers / Haulers
Voice Communication:
This feature enables to establish to and fro voice communication with the occupant of the vehicle, which enables the client to report any medical or distress emergencies
